We help you develop the right drone strategy, understand the regulatory issues and choose the best business solutions. You can rely on us from the first idea through to implementation.

Operational Authorisations and LUC

(Light UAS Operator Certificate)

If your drone activities go beyond the limits of the Open category, an operational authorisation or LUC is required. From preparing the related documentation to managing the regulatory process, we handle the full authorisation process, whichever type of authorisation you need.

Temporary Airspace Designation

Do you need to operate above populated areas or in controlled airspace? Or do you need to maximally reduce air risks? We provide fast, accurate and reliable administration for temporary airspace applications, ensuring that your project can be delivered on time and in compliance with all requirements.

Compliance, Audit and Regulatory Inspection Readiness

We assess the compliance of your activities, identify potential operational risks and recommend the improvements needed. Do not wait for a regulatory inspection – prevent issues and request our audit service.

Equipment Certification and Conformity Assessment

We support the conformity-assessment process for drone systems and associated equipment, ensuring that their operation meets all applicable requirements.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to obtain an operational authorisation?

From the service provider’s side, we typically prepare the required documentation in approximately one week, provided that all necessary prerequisites are available from the client. By law, the authority’s processing time may take up to 90 days; however, submitted documentation is usually assessed within 30 days.

It depends on whether the planned activity falls within the Open category or the Specific category. You may need an A1/A3 online training certificate, an A2 Certificate of Competency or, for plant-protection operations in the Specific category, an Unmanned Aircraft Remote Pilot Certificate and the NÉBIH plant-protection drone pilot qualification. We can assist you in obtaining all of these.

If you would like your operations to be continuously reviewed to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable legislation, we recommend entering into a compliance-service agreement. If you only need a periodic review of whether your past activities were compliant, an audit is the appropriate option. Whichever solution you choose, if we identify any non-compliance, we can help ensure that future activities meet legal requirements through a detailed corrective action plan.

This always depends on the intended outcome. Obtaining an operational authorisation takes approximately one month; training can be completed in as little as a few days, while a complex audit may take several weeks.

Yes, provided that the client can supply the required documentation and access. Each solution of this kind is assessed individually.
